Auto Return After Purchase

Auto return creates a seamless checkout process and immediately brings your buyers back to your website upon payment completion. Depending on what payment gateway you are using, the ability to bring your customer back to your store after a purchase is complete and see the Wazala success message differs. 

 

PayPal

For PayPal Standard and PayPal Express Checkout 

First Step:

You need to make sure that your merchant account is in a "Verified" status and your merchant's email address is "Confirmed". If one of both of these is not set then PayPal will not allow you to complete the auto return successfully. 

Second Step:

You need to turn on the auto return function in your PayPal account and state a URL.

  • Log into your PayPal account
  • Go to Profile
  • Under “Hosted payment settings” select the "Website payments preferences" link.
  • The first option is the auto return option. Turn this feature ON and place YOUR WAZALA STORE URL in the return URL field. 
  • Scroll down and save the page. 

Please Note: If you have turned on Auto Return and have chosen to turn on PayPal Account Optional for new users, and the buyer pays with guest checkout by clicking on "Don't Have a PayPal Account?" they will not be automatically returned to the return link. They will then instead be shown a credit card confirmation page with a "Return to Merchant" link. 

PayPal Website Payments Pro:

Since PayPal Website Payments Pro, is completely initiated and completed within the Wazala store, your customers are never directed elsewhere, thus will be automatically shown the success message after purchase, and the auto return function is not needed. 

PayPal Advanced:

Also an in store process like PayPal Pro above. 

 

Authorize.net

Since using Authorize.net within Wazala, is completely initiated and completed within the Wazala store, your customers are never directed elsewhere, thus will be automatically shown the success message after purchase, and the auto return function is not needed.

Stripe

Since Stripe works within Wazala, it is completely initiated and completed within the Wazala store, your customers are never directed elsewhere, thus will be automatically shown the success message after purchase, and the auto return function is not needed. 

PayMill

Since PayMill works within Wazala, it is completely initiated and completed within the Wazala store, your customers are never directed elsewhere, thus will be automatically shown the success message after purchase, and the auto return function is not needed.
